G&C Express Tire and Auto Service is as good as it gets! I initially was just planning on using a Groupon I got for an oil change but I was able to get my State Inspection done and an air filter replaced (at half of the price that Koons was going to charge me). They're really quick, extremely nice, and very honest and gave me a lot of recommendations including getting my throttle flushed and another air filter changed over the next four months. I'm 100% going back again when I'm ready to deal with my throttle and other filters.

I came here yesterday for a state inspection and oil change. I bought a groupon for the place so I figured I would try it out. I'll never go anywhere else!! I loved the friendly service, the free wifi, the snacks, drinks, tv, and available computers. I had a relaxing afternoon doing some work on my laptop while my car was worked on. I was told it would take 2 hours when I was on the phone and they were finished in 90 minutes. The place is fantastic. If you need a loaner car while they work during the day, they even offer that service. COME HERE FOR YOUR AUTO NEEDS!!!!!

My rating is on customer service because I didn't actually get any work done here. It was that good. I needed a tire replaced and they are close to my job, so I called and Rolando answers, couldn't be nicer. I give him my tire number and he checked the inventory, but he was unsatisfied with his finding. He told me a new shipment arrived and wanted to check that shipment to make sure they didn't have it. Unfortunately they didn't and while it could have been ordered (delivered in the morning) and installed and a lower price than I expected I declined and found one in the area that was available now. I will probably end up going there in the future.

i think this is my first yelp post. i'm never impressed with a place enough to write about it online, but this place is exceptional. everyone knows that most auto shops can be rude, shady, and just try to get you out of their shop as fast as they can for the next customer. it's a place i dread going because you never know what to expect. i had to tow my car here from somewhere nearby and they told me i would be charged a fee for leaving my car here for a couple days while i waited for new tires to be delivered. i got the tires two days later, brought them in, they replaced it very quickly and didn't even charge me the 'storage' fee for leaving the car. i should also mention that the rims themselves were pretty messed up, so they called me before they did anything to see how i wanted to proceed. i said just go ahead and i'll bring in new rims later. i called the shop when i got new rims to see if they could do it that day. they were having a blood drive so they were really backed up so they told me to come the next morning. a BLOOD DRIVE! who does that at an auto shop? not something i could contest with the person on the phone because it's for a good cause. i was pleasantly surprised that they were doing it.i brought the rims in at a later time, ten minutes late, they were still very polite, got a quick mini tour of where to get free soda, coffee, donuts and where i could sit to use the internet or watch tv. it's a very homey atmosphere and with it being around christmas, they have a couple of toys for kids, a xmas tree, and a bunch of gifts under it. again, probably for charity. although i live a good half an hour from this place, i have zero qualms about driving out here to get great service again.

Went out of their way to get me the services I needed (of course they recommended "extras") , but were respectful when I declined. Set up appointment for Trans. flush - they were ready for me, and guided me to "VIP" room where there's a massage chair, high speed internet, 50" flat screen TV, and other amenities - it's like a high tech professional office which I took full advantage of since I had to work while I was there. Prices were appropriate, but I became a member of their Car Care Club - which will save me a boat load of money in the long run - for $120, I got a half price trans flush, plus 4 free oil changes over the next year, plus wipers, plus discounts on other services --- just a great package overall --- what's better, is that they suggested it to me...when I called, I inquired about the cost of a transmission flush, which regular price is something like $260...but then the rep told me that I could get it for half price ($130) if I spent $120 on the Car Care Club as well - so for $250, I got the transmission flush, PLUS, all the other things mentioned above --- the fact that they literally gave it all away speaks volumes about their interest in serving their customers. Three days later, I got a survey request form from the owners themselvesThanks G&C - you will hopefully make future car services an easy choice!

I am very picky when it comes to where I get my vehicle serviced and I am glad I found C&G Auto.I moved to Chantilly in 2008 and needed a state and emissions inspection done. I saw one of their signs and decided to give them a try. Since then I have only used C&G and think they are the best shop in town. Raul and Bobby are awesome so make sure you ask for them.Worth noting: I had some repair that needed to be done that was going to be a bit pricey. Any other shop would have just taken my care fixed it and charged me. C&G noticed my vehicles year and mileage and suggested that the repairs would still be covered by the vehicles warranty. I was floored as I was expecting to shell out the money for the repairs, but at their advice I took it to the dealer and didn't pay a cent on a 2k repair. Goes to show that unlike other shops they are very honest, and trustworthy. As others have mentioned the shop is family owned and you feel it when you walk in. The waiting area filled with refreshments. The tv and computer rooms let you stay entertained while your vehicle gets fixed and you don't even notice the time go by.Give them a try you will love that you did.

I trust this people. I hate doing stuff to my car, but when I HAVE to, they make is convenient and easy for me. Friendly staff is always a plus. My husband and I take our cars here for everything, from tires to oil changes, etc. I have my 60,000 miles check due and I'll be taking it here... :)Got to love the cute orange cat that lives there...

G&C saved my wife $650 worth of repairs she didn't need. After failing an inspection at another local chain, we brought it to G&C to be fixed. A less honest shop could have charged us for the repair, even though it wasn't needed. They performed a re-inspection and then passed us even though we were prepared to spend the money on the repairs. That type of honesty is rare. A++ they are getting more business from me.

I've been going to the dealer since 2005, but after they kept pushing and pushing me to get major service done, I decided to finally shop around. if I'm going to get all this crap done to my car, why not see if I can save money elsewhere? After reading up on some reviews, and needing to get my emissions test done (after putting it off for way too long), I decided to go to G & C for the test and to get an estimate on the items I apparently needed to have done.I arrived at 7:30 without an appointment. I only had 2 people in front of me - not bad. The customer service rep, Bobby, told me about how long of wait it would be, told me they'll do a multi-point inspection, and didn't need to see the laundry list of items the dealer suggested I do. C&G's MP inspection would catch whatever was important. He then directed me to the bathroom, complimentary coffee and sodas, TV room and internet room. I proceeded to the internet room. This place looks a little outdated, kind of like someone's cabin home. The computer even has Internet Explorer 6! BUT you'll find this will be my only complaint about this place - so if an outdated waiting area is the worst thing, then we're off to a good start. The wait ended up a little longer than expected but I didn't have an issue with that. Once it was all done, Bobby came over to explain everything to me. The major items were similar to what the dealer asked for. The major difference is that he told me I could wait another 20k miles to get those items done, when the dealer has told me for months I need to resolve these items ASAP. That was a relief! He also told me how much everything would cost (still expensive but only because of the work required).Checking out was just as easy and checking in. I also got a copy of the multi-point inspection, the estimates for upcoming maintenance, business card and receipt.I am definitely convinced I will never go back to the dealer. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. They also take the time to explain things to people like me and know nothing about cars. I also feel like they are not robbing me blind! Also, they offer shuttle and a free loaner car, which is a plus. You also might see some cats around, but I believe they belong to the shop :)

When getting your car fixed really it's all about 1. How comfortable will I be? 2. How long will I have to wait? and 3.How much will I have to pay?" I have to say G&C gave me good answers to all three questions. An afternoon with time to kill in VA, wow, wouldn't this be a great time to get that broken headlight fixed so I can drive home on the Beltway in the dark without getting a Virginiafied ticket that I can't afford. Thanks to Yelp found this wonderful place. Did spend about 45 minutes looking for it only to find it located about five minutes from the location of my Pho luncheon.I am pretty spoiled, having had an Acura and been used to being told at the dealer, "Take a seat on the couch" (leather), "Watch some TV" (flat screen, cable) and "Grab a drink from the fridge" (free and good variety). Also they used to say bring your car in whenever you want and get a free car wash. Needless to say, whenever I was in the area I stopped in for a Diet Coke and a wash, plus some couch time! Now that I have a Volkswagen I have gotten more used to the ghetto treatment at the dealer, EVEN THOUGH MY VW COST MORE THAN MY ACURA, both to purchase and to service. Maybe it's that German austerity thing? So when I found G&C I was more than pleased to be directed to either the TV room or the computer room (they have both and free internet) and to be told, "Grab a drink from the fridge - they're free."Now this place isn't as fancy as an Acura, or even a VW dealer, but quite a comfy nice spot to wait for your car. The decor is more fishing cabin than sleek apartment, but I'll take it when it comes with a computer and a free soda and a quiet room away from the TV.As for the service - no complaints. They were extremely nice and professional. They fixed my headlight quickly, even though I showed up about 45 minutes before closing. The price was reasonable. What can I say? It was just replacing a light bulb (thank goodness!).Final word on this place - they put the owner's phone number on the receipt in large print. Need I say more?
